Grayton Beach State Park

At nearly 2,000 acres, Grayton Beach State Park consistently earns the title of one of the most pristine beaches in the United States. There are four miles of trails to explore on foot along with camping, swimming, paddling the Western Lake, and fishing. Fees: $5 per vehicle.

Topsail Hill Preserve

Named for its towering dunes that resemble ships' sails, this park protects over 3 miles of secluded beach and three rare coastal dune lakes. Visitors enjoy camping, bike trails, hiking, and bird watching. The park's diverse ecosystems include longleaf pine forests and wetlands. Fees: $6 per vehicle.

Deer Lake

Deer Lake is home to a rare coastal dune lake and some of the area's most pristine dune formations. The park's boardwalk provides stunning views of the dunes and Gulf while protecting the delicate ecosystem. Perfect for nature photography, swimming, and beachcombing. Fees: $3 per vehicle (2 to 8 passengers) and $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, and extra passengers.

Eden Gardens State Park

Here, you'll find a historic site centered around the beautifully restored Wesley House, a two-story mansion built in 1897. This park features ornamental gardens, ancient oak trees, and picturesque Tucker Bayou views. Popular for weddings, picnics, and guided house tours. Fees: $4 per vehicle, and $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, and extra passengers.

Camp Helen State Park

Bounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell, Camp Helen is Florida`s largest coastal dune lake. Camp Helen is rich with archaeological sites and historic buildings. Favorite activities include fishing, hiking, beachcombing, and unmatched wildlife viewing opportunities. Fees: $4 per vehicle and $2 per pedestrian or bicyclist.

Cypress Springs

Cypress Springs is one of the most stunning natural springs in the Panhandle, known for its crystal-clear turquoise water, lush cypress trees, and peaceful atmosphere. Accessible only by water, visitors typically reach the springs by kayaking or paddleboarding, making the journey part of the adventure! Fees: no entrace fee, but other fees may apply depending on where you enter from.

Point Washington State Forest

Spanning more than 15,000 acres, Point Washington State Forest offers plenty of hiking, biking, and equestrian paths through preserved longleaf pine ecosystems, wetlands, and sandhills.
